One day some bamboo decided to get together for a picnic, so they e-mailed out the invitations. One of their friends wrote back and said, “Is it okay if I bring my kids?”
“Of course,” said the bamboo organizing the picnic. “The more the merrier!”
So the kids came along and everyone had a good time, except for a few minutes when they all expressed regret that people rule the world — at least in the modern era — and not bamboo.
