I just got back from a long weekend in Ocean Grove, which is a little town south of Asbury Park famous for its Victorian/gingerbread housing stock and seemingly disparate populations of religious conservatives and non-heterosexuals. The two groups mostly live in peace with one another, despite occasional attempts by the former to antagonize the latter, and clearly share an interest in beautiful gardens and decorative woodwork.
