The Washington Heights Project (The Dimming of the Day)

The day started blue, but — predictably enough in August — turned white. 

The windows on the block caught the last of the sun. 

I wish cars weren’t allowed to park on the street, primarily for aesthetic reasons, but also environmental. 

I also worry about the stray cats getting hit.  

Maybe it’s time to end the era of mobility that defined the 20th century. It’s just not working out like we all thought it would 100 years ago.
