
June has turned gloomy, as it sometimes does, but at least we can be consoled by the pots of purple pansies that each summer line Bryant Park.

And let’s not pretend it wasn’t a good spring, because it was: it took a while to get going, but at least it wasn’t too hot. Whatever happens, the pansies are prepared.

Pansies are a good reminder that we only have one life, so it’s good to make the best of it.
