The George Washington Bridge Project

Today I woke up and didn’t take any pictures on my way to or during work. Time passed rather slowly. Several times I found myself worrying about things that were completely outside of my control. Undeterred, I sent e-mails seeking information. Predictably, I heard nothing in response.

I left work and returned home.

The bridge was serene and beautiful, and the clouds behind it resembled a distant mountain range. I didn’t care that the rest of my day had been futile and wasted; all of it was already forgotten, as if nothing had happened at all.
