Hi everyone! So in what I have to admit was a magnanimous gesture on the part of the n+1 editors (given my rather sustained heckling of them for posting an essay about ‘gay marriage’ with which I took offense), they posted a more earnest response from me and several others: click through to read the whole thing if you are so inclined (but be forewarned: there are no pictures of orchids or lolcats to break things up!).
