I’ve been dealing with my share of death lately, but the spring weather has been some consolation.

Moss on bricks.

The hellebores in bloom.

Campanula finding new crevices.

Another hellebore with velvet petals.

One of our Japanese maples, ready to leaf out.

We have more camellia buds this year than ever before.

The azalea we moved into a pot seems to be doing well.

The toad lilies are still an open question.

The climbing hydrangeas are also leafing out.

Soon the garden will be full of life.

Clio will be watching.
